How The Shazam Movie's Billy Batson Will Be Different From The Comics

Looking at David F. Sandberg specifically as a director, there's quite a bit to get excited about when it comes to his ability to help Asher Angel bring the character to life. To date, Sandberg's two most prominent film credits are Lights Out and Annabelle: Creation -- two films that focus on child protagonists. These young heroes show a remarkable maturity that's not often seen in horror movie kids, which arguably lends credence to the idea that Sandberg knows how to cast and direct children in a way that makes him ideally-suited to create a likable version of Billy.

Showtime’s The Loudest Voice in the Room adds Miller, MacFarlane & more Showtime has announced that Golden Globe nominee Sienna Miller ( Layer Cake ), Oscar nominee and Emmy winner Seth MacFarlane ( Family Guy ), Screen Actors Guild Award nominee Simon McBurney ( The Theory of Everything ) and Annabelle Wallis ( Peaky Blinders ) have joined the cast of the network’s upcoming eight-episode limited series about Fox News founder Roger Ailes. Based on extensive reporting by Gabriel Sherman for his bestselling book, The Loudest Voice in the Room , the series stars Academy Award and Golden Globe winner Russell Crowe ( Gladiator , A Beautiful Mind ) in the title role and Academy Award nominee Naomi Watts as Gretchen Carlson.
