The Angry Birds Movie 2 Trailer Promises That Winter Is Coming

Leslie Jones is far from the only new voice you’ll hear in The Angry Birds Movie 2 . Along with Brooklyn Prince joining as Zoe, Rachel Bloom, Sterling K. Brown, Eugenio Derbez, Zach Woods, Awkwafina, Lil Rel Howery, Dove Cameron, Beck Bennett, and Nicki Minaj have all been cast in undisclosed roles, and ideally we’ll find out who some, if not all, of these characters are before the movie arrives. I suspect that one of the actresses will be voicing the servant shown at the beginning of The Angry Birds Movie 2 trailer who tries to deliver Zeta her drink, only to slip on the frozen pool. Yeah, this ice island really isn’t the most hospitable place. via dubang

Captain Marvel Has Screened, Here Are The Early Reactions

Image
While it sometimes feels like we get a new Marvel Studios movie every week, the reality is that the last few months we’ve been in the biggest Marvel Cinematic Universe drought in quite a while. Peyton Reed’s Ant-Man And The Wasp dropped in theaters on July 6, 2018, and we’ve been waiting for the next chapter in the franchise for months. Soon, however, the drought will end with Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck’s Captain Marvel , and tonight the first audiences to see it finished have given us a preview of what we can expect. The first screenings of Captain Marvel were held tonight in advance of the movie’s domestic press junket, and, as is normal for Marvel Studios titles, the social media embargo has already been lifted. I’m excited to say that I was in the theater for one of these showings, and I shared my feelings in the following Tweet, highlighting both the fun approach to the origin story that the film takes, as well as the wonderful presence of star Brie Larson: via dubang
