When Roseanne's Revival Will Finally Premiere On ABC

With old characters confirmed to return, and the show's sneak peek giving fans horrid flashbacks of '80s and '90s home decor, the stage is set for Roseanne to come back to television. While we've known for a while that Roseanne would once again be taking over ABC sometime in 2018, we weren't entirely sure when audiences would get to travel back to Illinois to revisit the Conner family. In the wee hours of the morning, though, ABC announced the official release date for the series, and it looks like the Roseanne revival will premiere on Tuesday, March 27, 2018.

And, unsurprisingly, given that waking up every morning in 2017 has been like stepping into a John Carpenter nightmare, the last 12 months has seen the horror boom bigger than ever. Showtime’s The Loudest Voice in the Room adds Miller, MacFarlane & more Showtime has announced that Golden Globe nominee Sienna Miller ( Layer Cake ), Oscar nominee and Emmy winner Seth MacFarlane ( Family Guy ), Screen Actors Guild Award nominee Simon McBurney ( The Theory of Everything ) and Annabelle Wallis ( Peaky Blinders ) have joined the cast of the network’s upcoming eight-episode limited series about Fox News founder Roger Ailes. Based on extensive reporting by Gabriel Sherman for his bestselling book, The Loudest Voice in the Room , the series stars Academy Award and Golden Globe winner Russell Crowe ( Gladiator , A Beautiful Mind ) in the title role and Academy Award nominee Naomi Watts as Gretchen Carlson.
