Will Deadpool Have To Change Now That He's At Disney? The Studio Has Thoughts

Way to pre-emptively clean up your language, Mr. Reynolds. The good news is, moving forward, you won't have to do that any longer! Disney will let Deadpool remain R-rated. And we are assuming this holds true for the planned Deadpool/X-Force movies moving forward that will make use of Cable (Josh Brolin), Domino (Zazie Beetz) and a host of other X-Men characters. We know that Drew Goddard is on board to direct that superhero ensemble pic. But how the development of that story might change in light of this business deal remains to be seen.

The horror films resurgence of the last few years has been a remarkable thing to watch: some of the most exciting new filmmakers to emerge have been working in the genre, and plenty of masters have been doing some of the best work of their careers. And, unsurprisingly, given that waking up every morning in 2017 has been like stepping into a John Carpenter nightmare, the last 12 months has seen the horror boom bigger than ever. Showtime’s The Loudest Voice in the Room adds Miller, MacFarlane & more Showtime has announced that Golden Globe nominee Sienna Miller ( Layer Cake ), Oscar nominee and Emmy winner Seth MacFarlane ( Family Guy ), Screen Actors Guild Award nominee Simon McBurney ( The Theory of Everything ) and Annabelle Wallis ( Peaky Blinders ) have joined the cast of the network’s upcoming eight-episode limited series about Fox News founder Roger Ailes. Based on extensive reporting by Gabriel Sherman for his bestselling book, The Loudest Voice in the Room , the series stars Academy Award and Golden Globe winner Russell Crowe ( Gladiator , A Beautiful Mind ) in the title role and Academy Award nominee Naomi Watts as Gretchen Carlson.
