Roma Actor May Miss Oscars After Being Denied Visa

Jorge Antonio Guerrero does not know why he keeps getting denied visas to enter the U.S. He says he first started trying to obtain a visa early last year, but it wasn’t even on behalf of Roma. Initially, it was just for tourism. However, as the film gained in popularity, Guerrero says he tried again to gain access – even with the help of Netflix, who wanted him to attend events like the Golden Globes and, eventually, the Oscars. However, he routinely has been denied.

Showtime’s The Loudest Voice in the Room adds Miller, MacFarlane & more Showtime has announced that Golden Globe nominee Sienna Miller ( Layer Cake ), Oscar nominee and Emmy winner Seth MacFarlane ( Family Guy ), Screen Actors Guild Award nominee Simon McBurney ( The Theory of Everything ) and Annabelle Wallis ( Peaky Blinders ) have joined the cast of the network’s upcoming eight-episode limited series about Fox News founder Roger Ailes. Based on extensive reporting by Gabriel Sherman for his bestselling book, The Loudest Voice in the Room , the series stars Academy Award and Golden Globe winner Russell Crowe ( Gladiator , A Beautiful Mind ) in the title role and Academy Award nominee Naomi Watts as Gretchen Carlson.
