The Female Furies count themselves among those trained by Granny Goodness. They are traditionally compared of Bernadeth, Gilotina, Lashina, Mad Harriet and Stompa. Big Barda previously led the Furies until she defected so she could live with the love of her life, Mister Miracle, who was the first person to escape one of Granny Goodness' orphanages. Outside of the comics, Granny and the Furies have appeared in Superman: The Animated Series, Batman: The Brave and the Bold, Smallville and Superman/Batman: Apocalypse, to name a few projects.

Showtime’s The Loudest Voice in the Room adds Miller, MacFarlane & more Showtime has announced that Golden Globe nominee Sienna Miller ( Layer Cake ), Oscar nominee and Emmy winner Seth MacFarlane ( Family Guy ), Screen Actors Guild Award nominee Simon McBurney ( The Theory of Everything ) and Annabelle Wallis ( Peaky Blinders ) have joined the cast of the network’s upcoming eight-episode limited series about Fox News founder Roger Ailes. Based on extensive reporting by Gabriel Sherman for his bestselling book, The Loudest Voice in the Room , the series stars Academy Award and Golden Globe winner Russell Crowe ( Gladiator , A Beautiful Mind ) in the title role and Academy Award nominee Naomi Watts as Gretchen Carlson.
